BEFORE YOU READ: If you don't want to be spoiled for Undertale, please let me know in the comments below or via PM! Sans inherently has many spoilers attached to him (as all characters of UT do). I intend to play him with his deeper personality traits/history mostly obfuscated, as this is how he is in canon. However, if you'd like your character to NEVER learn about those deeper secrets, I'm totally happy to oblige! Just lemme know.

Backtagging: Oh lord yes, I try to tag back quickly but I'm very flexible and open to backtagging.

Threadhopping: Yeah, of course! I'll mark a thread private if it's not open to that.

Fourthwalling: Sans is essentially a fourthwall character, at his core, but not so much outside the fabric of his own universe. So I guess let's talk about it?

Offensive subjects: Nah, I'm easy. Provided you're not being a super creep, I'm alright with most things.

Hugging this character: If you're willing to lean down that far, go for it.

Kissing this character: No lips, unfortunately. He'd be pretty weirded out, in all likelihood, but not enough to actually care one way or the other.

Flirting with this character/Relationships: Unless flirtations come in the form of a stupid joke, Sans is pretty immune. Bonezone is difficult to enter.

Easiest way to get on his bad side: Any ill action towards his brother. Seriously. Speaking just mildly bad of him is enough to peeve Sans off a bit. Aside from that, having generally bad humor or being unwilling to at least try something out is a warning sign to Sans. He won't get mad about it, but he'll take note.

Easiest way to get on his good side: Be nice to his brother. Laugh at his jokes.

Sexual orientation: Skeletons don't have anything going on down there and the Underground has plenty of agender creatures, so I can't imagine Sans caring one way or the other about human concepts of gender. I can't see him caring too much about sex, either.

Fighting with this character: Unless your character has done something really, really, really, really awful, I can't see Sans summoning the energy to fight back. Tho fair warning: Sans has a semi-godly ability to dodge. If it's hard to land a hit on him, I promise I'm not trying to godmode you, seriously! You kinda have to take him by surprise.

Injuring this character/Killing this character: Okay so I'm combining these two, because in Sans's case there's kind of no separation between them. He has only 1HP, meaning that even the lightest of hits (if it lands) will very likely kill him. He's VERY fragile. And I'm okay with him dying, but be advised that it's very easy to do!

Using telepathy/mind reading abilities on this character: Sure! Tho there is a lot there under the surface that Sans will almost never discuss openly, so be sure to poke at me first about it!

Okay, so, Sans has a few abilities that hinge on his observational skills of others and a few more associated with his magic. I'd really appreciate it if you could fill out this form for your characters, just so I can know whether to hold back and/or how Sans should read them!

<font face="comic sans ms"><b>[ OOC ]</b></font> <b>Comic Sans?:</b> Sans canonically speaks in <font face="comic sans ms">comic sans ms</font>, except for when he is being serious and/or threatening. I intend to handwave this for speaking, but when typing I intend to have him use his usual comic sans but I can handwave that too if you'd prefer. Lemme know if you're cool with that/not cool with that! <font face="comic sans ms"><b>[ IC ]</b></font> <b>May Sans pick up on your character's LV? If so, what is their LV?:</b> In Undertale, "LV" stands for "Level of Violence" and marks the amount of killing someone has done in their life. However, more accurately, it measures the amount of detachment a person feels when killing. Sans canonically is very good at picking up on this through observation. If you're fine with Sans picking up on this, give me a number on a scale of 1-20 for your character! 1 being 'has never killed ever if they did, it would be fairly traumatic' and 20 being 'would feel nothing killing a child if it was in their way/feels nothing about killing in general.' <b>May Sans teleport your character?:</b> Once Sans gets the layout of a location memorized, he will eventually start teleporting around it. He's capable of teleporting others as well, and objects. He tends to do this fairly abruptly, so lemme know if you're open to him doing this midthread! He'll usually ask, but he tends to do it anyway regardless of the answer. <b>May Sans magically affect your character?:</b> Unless your character is actively threatening the fabric of the universe, he will almost certainly not attack you. However, Sans has the ability to manipulate gravity on a person -- levitation (that he controls), increased gravity, etc. If you're open to him using that, lemme know! <b>Any observations Sans can make about your character?</b> Sans was a scientist in a past life, and I choose to believe that he takes frequent mental and physical notes on people. As a result, his observation skills are sharp -- right down to reading the amount of times he's killed someone by looking at their face. If there anything about your character he'll be able to intuit by sight, please lemme know!

Comic Sans?: haha go for it!

May Sans pick up on your character's LV? If so, what is their LV?: oh lord. Err like a 10? He does a lot of killing, but it's generally only when people/things are trying to kill him first. He also killed his own brother, but definitely not without a lot of guilt.

May Sans teleport your character?: Hell yes he can. Varric will also totally want to use this to be a complete shit as well, so get used to being pestered once you let him know about this, Sans.

May Sans magically affect your character?: No problem here!

Any observations Sans can make about your character? Varric still has the slight swagger of someone who is completely confident about himself and his place in the universe, but that's been slightly shaken lately by the fact that the whole universe just turned itself inside out on him. He's observant himself, but not to anywhere near the same degree as Sans - he's just interested in everything. When he drinks, he's often not drinking as much as he pretends to. Half the time if he's bitching and complaining, he's doing it for his own petty amusement and not out of actual annoyance. THAT KIND OF THING, I GUESS.
